Steps to install the windows:

The sliding windows are much energy efficient than the normal ones. In the present days most of the owners of home desire to fix aluminium sliding windows for their home as it looks good.

Prepare opening for windows:

Before the position of the window is set, you must ensure that the opening of the window is ready to receive. The frame of the window should be in the appropriate direction and straight for the sliding window to slide appropriately. If there is a slight variation then you can use shims to level it.

The windows should be leveled:

In the position that is vertical place a level which is small on the window sill. With the help of wooden shims the windows can be leveled off to make the adjustments which are required. These shims should be kept outside the place where the installation of window is made. The shims should be driven where the out face should be thicker. If there is a need then the shims can be kept on bottom or top of the window.  To have a control which is better over a level keep the shims in the corner. The axis which is horizontal should be worked on after the vertical is bought into level.

Keep the window in position:

After leveling the windows you can make the window in to the position. The nails which are galvanized into the frame of aluminium in its sides where there are holes which are present for them. Ensure the level of the window after each nail is been placed. As soon as the window is secure remove the nails which are place as toe nails.

Insulation of stuff:

After the window is been secured small bits should be taken for insulation. The window frame cracks should be stuffed after insulation but you should be very careful. As soon as it is released from the can the foam insulation expands so you will have to be very careful. If you use it in excess the frame will bend so use it as per the need.
